I am based in the centre of Bampton, a pretty Cotswold village in Oxfordshire, where the old-fashioned values of pride in one’s work, concern for others and attention to detail still thrive. I am not in partnership with anybody else, which means that you will deal exclusively with me (or, if I am not available, my personal assistant). You can be sure that your work will not be delegated to unqualified staff and, because of the size of the business, I am able to move very quickly when circumstances require.

With great regret, I am retiring from full-time practice. I have Multiple Sclerosis and, whilst I am still relatively fit and well, I am finding it increasing difficult to have the same energy and drive that I have put into my work and the business over the last 24 years.

Fortunately, I have found someone to take over my role in the business. Michael Rhodes has been in the legal profession since 1976 and brings with him years of experience in conveyancing, property-related matters, wills, probate and trusts.

Michael is keen to carry on with the standards and ideals I have set. He has now taken over the business, and will continue to run it under the name of J M Harrison. I remain involved, for now, in the role of consultant.

It has been a pleasure acting for every one of my clients, and I am sure that a first class service will continue to be provided by J M Harrison.
